Wednesday night. Clear. Lows in the mid 50s. Light
wind.
Here's a brief series recap per category:
Masters 40+: Ivan Meadors (Corben Huntair) looks
strong but Lars Anderson (Team Rose City) and Leo
Porreco (Half-Fast Velo) are hot on his heels.
Women 4: Kristine Rotan (Sorella Forte) made it look
easy winning races 1 and 2. Who will take race 3?
Women 1/2/3: Just 3 points separate Shanan Whitlatch
(Fred Meyer), Julie Browning (Sorella Forte) and Mandy
Lozano (River City Bicycles). Mandy leads the Queen
of Tabor competition by 10 points over Shanan.
Men 4/5: Brian Schultz (Los Ciclistas) backed up his
win from week 1 with a strong second place finish last
week.
Men 3: Junior Brett Williams (River City/Team Oregon)
is off to a roaring start in the Cat 3 field with a
2nd and a 1st place finish in the first two races.
Pro/1/2: John Leonard (Bike Gallery/TREK), Soloman
Woras and Shannon Skerritt (Bike Gallery/TREK) are all
very close in the ovrall with Erik Tonkin (Team S&M),
Luke Pennington (Bike Gallery/TREK) and Doug
Ollerenshaw (Broadmark) all not far behind. Soloman
leads the King of Tabor competition but Leonard is not
far behind.
