my warning advising everyone to disregard the race flyer on the ACC website

(in bold below). The schedule in the email below is the schedule for the

races. Again, disregard the website flyer, and rely on the flyer below!

The 2003 Edition of the Great Northern Aurora Road Race is on for this

Saturday, June 28, 2003. Details are below and in the attachment. We hope

The Great Northern Aurora Road Race

Presented by the Aurora Cycling Club on behalf

of its primary sponsor Aurora Cycles

Date: Saturday, June 28, 2003

Location: National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), Conway, Washington.

Directions: I-5 north from Seattle to exit 221. Right turn (east) SR534

and proceed for approximately .7 miles. The NOLS is on the left side of the

road.

Course: Beautiful 4.3 mile roll out to the course, which is an 18 mile loop

around Lake McMurray. The course follows SR9 South, turns left onto 44th

Avenue NE, then another left on Cavanaugh Road, and a final left back onto

SR9. On the finishing lap, the race turns right back onto SR534, and the

finish line is approximately a mile after the turn.

Cost: $20.00 for USCF licensed racers. One-day USCF licenses available for

$5.00. No late fees.

Prizes: Cash and merchandise.

Race Day: Registration, parking and porta-lets will be located at NOLS,

where the races start. Registration opens at 8:00AM, and closes 15 minutes

prior to the start of your race.

Race Numbers: WSBA numbers will be used and must be worn on your right

side.

Wheel Support: Wheels in/wheels out.

The Great Northern Aurora Road Race

Presented by the Aurora Cycling Club on behalf

Date: Saturday, June 28, 2003

Location: National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), Conway, Washington.

Directions: I-5 north from Seattle to exit 221. Right turn (east) SR534

and proceed for approximately .7 miles. The NOLS is on the left side of the

road.

Course: Beautiful 4.3 mile roll out to the course, which is an 18 mile loop

around Lake McMurray. The course follows SR9 South, turns left onto 44th

Avenue NE, then another left on Cavanaugh Road, and a final left back onto

SR9. On the finishing lap, the race turns right back onto SR534, and the

finish line is approximately a mile after the turn.

Cost: $20.00 for USCF licensed racers. One-day USCF licenses available for

$5.00. No late fees.

Prizes: Cash and merchandise.

Race Day: Registration, parking and porta-lets will be located at NOLS,

where the races start. Registration opens at 8:00AM, and closes 15 minutes

prior to the start of your race.

Race Numbers: WSBA numbers will be used and must be worn on your right

side.

Wheel Support: Wheels in/wheels out.
