Riding for a Better Way of Life Fundraiser Bike Ride - Eugene

Jim Anderson

2003-07-18

My name is Karla, and I am coordinating a Bike Ride/Fundraiser for a

non-profit agency, Full Access Brokerage. This event is to raise money

to help adults with developmental disabilities improve their quality of

life. I have attached a brochure that will provide more details.

We need about 10 people to be route monitors and 5 volunteers to

support riders. We will have cell phones for the route monitors to

call back to the base if there is a need for the shuttle, first aid, or

mobile mechanical support.

The "support team" will assist riders who might need a bit more help to

complete the shorter, 5 mile ride. Our event is an all inclusive event

for all members of our community. Thus we want to ensure that every

participant has a fun, successful and safe time. These volunteers will

walk along with a rider or be the lead rider on a tandem.

If you could help us in either of these areas, that would be great.

thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Karla
