- Junior and U23 Men: Age determined by 2004 racing age (see notes).

Note: This event is subject to drug testing by USADA, locations will be

posted if testing is conducted.

Registration

Pre-reg. fees as listed above. Pre-reg recommended. Field Limit 100 riders

in all groups.

We recommend online pre-reg, available at ORbike.com open through Weds

October 8th. Paper mail pre-reg must be postmarked by Monday Oct 6th. Mail

License and Category Notes - Read Carefully!!!

Elite and U23 Men: For elite and U23 men, an International Racing License is

required. An Elite Men's rider not holding a UCI/USAC international Racing

License may be, subject to approval by the chief referee, permitted to race

in the UCI Elite category if you hold a USCF Annual License and plan on

racing Elite Men at the National Championships. You will be assigned a UCI

code, with your registration, but will not have to hold the International

License. (**If you are trying to make a World Championships Team you should

hold the International License). Note: Holding an International Racing

License will be a requirement to race in the Elite Men's and Espoir's

categories at the Saturn USCF Cyclocross National Championships.

Espoir/U23 riders are age 19-22 based on your Dec. 31, 2004 racing age (not

current 2003 racing age) per UCI rules. Elite/U23 race is a combined event.

Rider placing will not be separated; points and prizes awarded by finish

order regardless of category, per USAC policy. U23 riders will be indicated

in results for reference.

Cash prize schedule is according to UCI 1.3 requirements.

Elite Women:

USCF annual license is required (NORBA or USCF) to race this category. No

one-day licenses available for this category. Annual licenses will be

available for purchase onsite, subject to approval of chief referee.

Juniors UCI (17 & 18 years old):

USCF annual license is required (NORBA or USCF) to race this category.

Junior Men are age 17-18 based on your Dec. 31, 2004 racing age (not current

2003 age) per UCI rules.

The Junior race is a USAC national ranking event, awarding points to the top

5 places according to USAC world's team selection rules. No one-day licenses

available for this category. Annual licenses will be available for purchase

onsite, subject to approval of chief referee.

Juniors non-UCI:

Only OBRA license is req'd to race this category.

The non-UCI Junior race will race with the Category C men as per Cross

Crusade rules and schedule of events.

All other categories:

All other categories (Masters, B, C, Non-Elite & Maters Women) require an

OBRA license. Licenses will be mad available day of race. The fee for OBRA

licenses will be waived for those visiting and carrying a NORBA and/or USCF

license.

One-day licenses are available at the event for $5.00.

Allow extra time for race-day license purchases.

Non-elite categories are self selected; no minimum category requirement.

CX Nats Licensing Note - An International Racing Llicense will be required

for Elite Men and Espoirs at CX Nationals. All other championship categories

will require USCF Annual License. Non-championship categories (i.e.- Men's

and Women's Cat B, Cat C & Single Speed) can purchase one day licenses for

each day they are on course.

Prizes

$3000 cash purse for Elite/U23 men and Elite Women, courtesy of Cannondale

and River City Bicycles.

Prize breakdown is: Men - $2000 Cash.

Women - $1000 Cash.

Merchandise to other categories.

Prizes include schwag, MacTarnahan's Brew and selected Oregon wines (no wine

or beer for Juniors of course)

Awards - a short awards ceremony for the UCI categories will take place

immediately following the Elite Men's race. Top 3 in each UCI category.

Dogs must be on leash.

No beer or other alcoholic beverages.

Bring a cowbell.
