Hello Everyone
Here are the races and dates for
2004 Oregon Mt Bike Series.
Funny to write this with all the snow on the ground
today in Oakridge and think ahead to the Finals in
July, but people have asking for more info.
This will be the 5th year for the series and we are
looking foward to another great year with some of your
favorite races.
CROSS COUNTRY
April 10 Big K Elkton
Classic Mudfest Course
May 1 Spring Thaw Ashland

Great Start and Finish spot in the park
May 9 Cascade Chainbreaker Bend

May 29-30 Pickett's Charge !
Stage race TT, Dirt Crit and XC
If you have never done a stage race you should try
one...did my first one last year...it was the hardest
I worked on a bike ever, but it was the funniest and
most rewarding event I have done.

Great mountain bike course...For XC we are using the
course we used at NW Bike Fest. NOT State

XC finishes again in the park on the river

Same great courses as Oakridge FTF
Hope to see you at our events in 2004 and best of luck
to the Mt Hood and Clif series...it's great we have so
many races to pick from and none are on the same
dates.
You now have a chance to win or place in 3 series.
DOWNHILL DATES WILL BE COMING SOON
NON SERIES EVENTS
12 Hour race in August at Willamette Pass...we will be
using mostly single track trails that run in and
around the resort...WE WILL NOT BE CLIMBING UP AND
DOWN DUSTLY SKI RUNS! As it stands now it is a really
nice 12 mile loop.
Tri In Newport in April...Dave C in Newport has more
details.
Adventure Race in Oakridge this Summer...featuring Mt
Bike, Road Biking, Trail running, water sport and
mystery events...Solo, 2 and 4 person teams...most Mt
Bikers that try these events love them.
Please let me know if you have any questions
Take Care
