Here is the Final Schedule for the

2004 Oregon Mountain Bike Series (formally VW/Trek

Series). This will be the 5th year of the series and

we know it will be a great one. We look forward to

seeing all our friends again and hopefully some new

racers.



We had to switch two locations and dates,so please

note the change



April 10 Big K         Elkton



May 1 Spring Thaw      Ashland

May 9 Cascade Chainbreaker   Bend

May 29 Picketts Charge TT, Dirt Cirt Bend

May 30 Picketts Charge XC Bend



June 11 Oakridge FTF Hill Climb   

June 12 Oakridge FTF Short Track/Dirt Crit

June 13 Oakridge FTF Cross Country



July 16 Oregon State Championships Hill Climb

July 17 Oregon State Championships Short Track

July 18 Oregon State Championships Cross Country

July 25 Oregon Mountain Bike Series Finals Fall City



Best 5 out of 7 to place in the overall.



Non-series events



DoD Disciples of Dirt will be hosting their Summer

Ridefest in Oakridge at the sametime as the State

Champions, so if you have friends or familiy that are

more into riding/tours then racing there will be rides

of all ability levels.



12 HOURS AT THE PASS

There will be a 12 Hour Mt Bike Race at Willamette

Pass

In August I am awaiting final go from Forest

Service...I want to stress this will NOT be racing up

and down dusty ski runs...we will be using the cross

country trails and forest service trails around the

pass for our race loop.



Remember The Chainbreaker and Oakridge FTF are part of

the NW Cup that also includes racees in Washington

State on April 24 and May 15...contact me for more

details...this a great new mini series that will let

you race new courses and test yourself against the

best in the NW.
