Hello Obra-ites,

Just a preliminary heads-up regarding the May 1 Earth 20 Cove Classic RR in

beautiful Culver, Oregon. For those of you that don't know the area Culver

is located between Madras and Redmond.

The race will feature a ~55 mile course laid out around the surrounding

farmland with a groovy little jaunt down into and around Lake Billy Chinook

(Cove Palisades State Park) and should be loads of fun. for the climber

types. It will be very scenic for everyone else. Lots o' uphill. Not sure of

the total vertical, but it's rough. (2 mile, 7% KOM climb included at no

extra charge)

Due to course and time restraints the only categories offered will be

P/1/2/3 and Master's Men 35+ 1/2/3. Cat. 3's will be picked separately in

the Senior field.

Earth 20 Water, headquartered in Culver, Or. has graciously agreed to put up

a.drum roll please. $2000 prize list for the P/1/2 field!! Everyone else

gets trophies and various bikey schwag.

This race should be a great early season tune-up for all your upcoming stage

races and undoubtedly is located in one of the prettiest areas you'll see

all season.
