I started my day off at the road race.. it was good to
see a lot of the racers again.
I then went to the Mt Bike Freeride contest in
Eugene...not knowing what to think...
I was blown away there were over 500 people watching
the event, the seats were FULL...plus there were
nearly 150 riders, that is a HUGE turn out for that
sport.
Hats off to Collins Bikes of Eugene, Giant, Dechutes
Cycles, Willamette Pass and all the sponsors.
They gave away 5 frames and two full bikes along with
I am guessing another $5,000+ in over prizes.
For a first time event it was awesome.
