Additional Information:

About the Eugene Celebration:

The Eugene Celebration was created in 1983 by the City of Eugene to bring

together the Eugene community for three days of music and fun. In 1997, the

City offered the management of the Celebration to the public and private

sector. Downtown Eugene, Inc. stepped forward to accept the offer. In April

1998, Downtown Events Management, Inc. (DEMI) was created to manage the

Celebration as well as create and manage a year-round calendar of events

Today the Celebration is the largest and most celebrated civic event in the

southern Willamette Valley. The event attracts nearly 60,000 participants

during the three-day event period. The Celebration is anchored by up to five

performance stages located throughout the streets, parks and open spaces of

downtown Eugene. The stages are linked by street performers, face painters,

food vendors, beverage gardens, a marketplace, a special venue showcasing up

to 100 non-profit groups, an extensive KidZone area, the Celebration Parade,

the Pet Parade, sporting events and much, much more.
