UO Race Update

The 2nd Annual UO Race Weekend is coming up this Saturday and Sunday

with a mix of old (the classic Greenhill crit course) and the new (Fall

Creek road race with NO GRAVEL). I look forward to seeing the growing

collegiate fields as well as the familiar faces of the OBRA circuit

partake in some good ole fashion racin'!

There are a couple of changes to the race flyer that I'd like to point

your attention to. First off, the website now has links to a course map

and elevation profile for the road race. Second, if you plan to do a

second race at the crit on Sunday the entry fee is $15 for the first

race, $10 for the second. Collegiate racers who want to do a second

race in their regular category can do so for $10 (OBRA license

required). Third, seeing as how the college ranks have been growing so

much, the crit will split the Men's B and Men's C races up, the Cs will

begin the day's festivities at 8:25 am.

Also, to clear up any confusion, the OBRA races are seperate events with

seperate prize lists, while the college races are part of a weekend

points omnium. The Team Time Trial is for college teams only.

If you plan to pre-register, please have your waiver and entry fee

postmarked by Wednesday to ensure that they get to Eugene in time. The

race flyer can be found at:

See you this weekend!!
