Hello Everyone



I am having a work party and pre-ride day on May 22

for those interested in riding the Oakridge course.



Thanks to DOD all the trails are clear...what I would

like to do is improve the Salmon Creek trail that goes

by and under the railroad bridge and also build a

trail under the bridge towards the finish...that is

where now you have to cross the road and weave around

a gaurdrail...I want to make it smooth so on your laps

you ride over the bridge to start another lap and for

the finish you go under the bridge and onto the park.



The plan is to meet at the Trailhead Coffeehouse at

8:30AM and work until noon or 1....and then be riding

by 2PM. If you plan on eating at the Trailhead come

an hour early...they are normally busy on weekends.



Also Shane Young is going to be up taking pictures of

the course and for my tour business and the chamber,

so I need some people to use in the pictures...we will

run around and take pics on 3-5 trails...be a great

way for you to learn where some of the awesome other

Oakridge trails are.



As a reward for those that help on the trail work, I

will have a BBQ and beer bash at my house that night.



If you want to stay the night and ride again on Sunday

the Oakridge Motel has great room rates.
