Hello All Oregon, Washington, ID, Cali and Mont

Downhillers

Wendy please post this for the Washington, ID and

Mont

racers for the NW Cup.

The NW Cup will now only include events in

Washington

and at Willamette Pass.

There will be some major changes for the 2004 season

First there will now be two downhill series

The Oregon Mt Bike series which will include the

Thaw

and Willamatte Pass races and the Hood series, which

will be the Hood races.

This information is ONLY for the Oregon Mt Bike

Series, you'll need to talk with Hood about their

classes, info, rules, ect..

For the Oregon series there will be NO min. number

or

best of races needed...in other words the more races

of the four you do... the better you'll finish for

the

overall.

CHANGE !...Sept 4-5 will not only be the State

Championships, but it will now be the Oregon Series

Finals and the NW Cup Finals...it will be a double

points race!

You MUST race the Sept 5 race to get an award for

the

overall and the NW Cup.

Here are the correct classes again for the Oregon

Series: If you are over 40 and raced the Thaw,

please

contact me so I can get you into the 40+ class for

the

overall.
