As a race organizer of a multiple day event, im wanting to know if

racers perfer a stage race or omnium format race.

The General differences between the two races:

Stage Race(timed general classification)

-everyone is given a finish time, and fig. into GC

-racers have to finish each stage

-takes some more official work to place everyone

Omnium Format:

-points based, usually going anywheres from 10-20deep on pts.

-can do 1 or all stages, your choice

-more flexible

Other issues:

-omniums tend to be cheaper in entry fees, due to your choice of doing

which ever stage you want or doing the whole thing. Usually the entry

fee for 2 day omnium race is discounted for doing all events.

Let me know what you think and perfer
