Team Dobbiaco is proud to announce the 2005 Treasure Valley Omnium, May
13-15, 2005 (USCF Permit #2005-699). This is a three-day, three-stage points
race. Riders can sign up for one, two, or all three events. Riders who sign
up for all three stages must successfully complete each stage to be eligible
for Omnium prizes.
Stage 1: Swan Falls Dam Individual Time Trial ? May 13, 2005
A rolling 15km individual time-trial course starting at the base of the
Snake River Canyon at the Idaho Power?s Swan Falls Dam complex. This former
HP Women?s Challenge TT course will present riders with a demanding initial
1.4 mile climb out of the canyon followed by 6 miles of gradual downhill
ending with an uphill climb to the finish.
Stage 2: Kuna Butte Road Race ? May 14, 2005
Starting in the town of Kuna, this 20 mile road race loop goes around Kuna
Butte presenting to the riders a steep steady climb with several other
shorter climbs and rollers mixed in. The finishing stretch is flat and fast.
Perfect for a bunch sprint. The course consists mostly of right hand turns
with left hand turns at the very start of the race and at the very end of
the race.
Stage 3: Team Dobbiaco/Satchel?s Grill Downtown Criterium ? May 15, 2005
This 1km Criterium course centered in downtown Boise, ID has long and fast
front/back stretches with tight turns. The roads are smooth and flat.
Race Fee: Omnium: Men CAT Pro/1/2 ($55); Women CAT 4 & Juniors ($20); All
other Categories ($45). Individual Stages: $25 (Juniors: $5). A $10 increase
for day of race registration.
