Something I remember about Keren and Kevin: Keren dropped back from the
pack at PIR to console a friend of ours who was doing her first race.
She rode with her continuing to console and coach her. Our friend Val
thought this was the most unselfish nicest person she'd met in a long
time. Keren had one of the most beautiful smiles of any racer in the
state and it seemed she wore it often. Kevin was the most passionate
person I've ever met. This showed in everything he did, work, life,
cycling, go cart racing and brewing beer. He was always adamantly
reminding us that we were ambassadors of cycling and should ride the
highways as such and not as if they were our personal race courses.
They were both great resources to their clubs and state and are sorely
missed.
