early NORBA season notes from Chris Sheppard (Haro) who is based in

Bend this season:

congrats to Bend-based pros Adam Craig (Giant-Pearl Izumi) for his

first place finish at the NORBA season opener in Texas and to Carl

Decker (Giant-Pearl Izumi) who finished 6th. Craig also placed 5th at

the Nova NORBA National in Arizona. Chris Sheppard (Haro) took 7th in

the same race.



And most of us have heard already that Decker took 1st at the

Mudslinger last weekend and Craig took 3rd...with Decker taking the

state NORBA title, I think.



and don't forget Chrissy Ruiter (Ford-Basis) for her 8th place overall

finish at Valley of the Sun in Feb., and 4th place road race at the

Mclane Pacific Classic, and 8th GC at Redland recently. Nice work.



If anyone has any other news on any other Bend-based pros...keep us up

to date. I'm probably forgetting somebody.
