The 2005 Treasure Valley Omnium is a three-day three-stage points race

located in Southwest Idaho. Riders may race one, two, or all three stages.

Stage 1: Swan Falls Dam Individual Time Trial

Idaho Power Swan Falls Dam Complex, Snake River Canyon, Southern Idaho

The Individual Time Trial is a rolling point-to-point 15km (9.2mi) course

starting at the base of the Snake River Canyon at the Idaho Power?s Swan

Falls Dam complex. This former HP Women?s Challenge TT course will present

riders with a demanding initial 1.4 mile climb (up to 12% grade in certain

parts) out of the Snake River Canyon followed by 6 miles of rolling terrain

through the Birds of Prey National Conservation Area ending with an gradual

1.5 mile uphill climb to the finish.

Stage 2: Kuna Butte Road Race

Kuna, Idaho

Starting in the town of Kuna, this 20 mile road race loop goes around Kuna

Butte presenting to the riders a steep steady climb with several other

shorter climbs and rollers mixed in. The finishing stretch is flat and fast

which is perfect for a bunch sprint. The course consists mostly of right

hand turns with left hand turns at the very start of the race and at the

very end of the race.

Located in downtown Boise, ID this 800m Criterium course has long and fast

front/back stretches with short tight turns. The roads are smooth and flat.
