Hi OBRA land,
The Swan Island crit is coming up this weekend and I'd like to update
you on the event.
First reminder is this race was created as an equal pay out race for the
women. The prize pool is $355 ($710 total) for Cat 1/2 fields. Payout
is 10 deep (90,70,50,40,30,25,20,15,10,5). The rest of the fields
except juniors have a $30 purse paid out 3 deep $15,$10,$5. Junior
prizes are still being gathered.
Good news for those of you planning of attending Elkhorn. Nathan Hobson
has graciously given 5 coupons for $20 off registration fees when
registering for Elkhorn. These will be given out a primes during the
races.
Coffee loves will rejoice to know Longbottom Coffee Roasters is giving 8
pounds of coffee, also to be used as primes.
Back by popular demand is the Masters Cat 5 Category and Fix Gear races.
Make sure to read the roll out limit for fix gears on the website.
Here is a reminder that registration is available online. If you
register before Thursday the cost of your first race is only $17. There
is no service fee for you to pay. I actually eat the service fee for
you. Save yourself time and money by spending a quick 5 minutes at this
moment. http://www.creclub.com/sic/ <http://www.creclub.com/sic>
