I couldn't agree more. As a racer with a family it is always a struggle

to make all the great events out there.



A word of encouragement to promoters.......



The kid's event element along with a place for kids and family to "hang

out" safely during other events is a BIG draw for a lot of us out here.

We like to bring our families along with us. Sometimes it is bring them

along or don't come at all. Time is a premium for a lot of us. What

better combination than family and bike racing together.



I would have happily paid for the kid's event. It doesn't need to be

free. It would have been great for the kids to take home ribbons or

little medalions. My kids are 3 and 5 and they had a blast. We'll

definitely be back for next year's Swan Island Classic.
