Thanks to all racers that attended the Lakeside Bicycles Monday Night

Masters and Women Series at PIR - year 13 for me as organizer.

It was impressive group that braved the heavy rain this last week. What a

way to end the season, usually it is hot and sunny. Typical Oregon day...





We saw a huge increase in the Novice category. Consistently getting 15+

riders in women and 30+ novice groups. Many repeat racers but also tons of

new riders wanting to see what this bike racing is all about. Each one of

the novice riders seemed very passionate and excited for the next race!





Along with the novice we saw a steady group of women showing up every week

to race hard, along with masters 1/2/3 and 4/5s groups.





Thanks to Lakeside Bicycles for supporting the series this year again.

Without strong sponsors the series could not go on. Please support this

locally owned bike shop.





Thanks to the fantastic Fred Meyer/Lakeside Bicycles team. Kent Johnson and

his strong team were out every week to show the novice women and 30+ all the

tricks. Thanks to Nomad team for support of the Novice women too. I get many

emails about how amazing this program is and how much people loved the

coaching.
