Everything is coming together for the inaugural race...



Deschutes Brewery is the Title Sponsor, so no one will walk away empty

handed...



I could use a few more volunteers, so if someone has a friend or significant

other that wants to help, I'll wave your entry fee & fill up all the

volunteers with refreshments... After the race of course.



I've been answering a lot of questions about bike/wheel/tire choices. Here

is my official answer... Hmmm.... Where do I start. Seriously though, some

of the dirt sections are a little rough. Can you get away with burly road

tires? Maybe. But I'd rather see you guys/gals on knobbies. I know there

will be some people on beefy road tires trying to get an advantage on the

pavement, but that is only 50% of the race. So be smart.
