[My apologies in advance, I know this is the OR race list but I figured it's

relevant news...]



As racing season draws near I thought I'd remind everyone that is interested

in participating in a WSBA event in 2006 of a few things so that you have

your numbers in time.



1) All registration info is on the WSBA web site here:

2) If you mail in your registration plan on waiting 15 days for your

numbers. If you register on-line, plan on waiting 10 days.



3) If you race on a WA team, talk to your team manager as most WA teams (all

hopefully!) are registering their roster en masse.



4) You can NOT get your annual WSBA number at the Seattle Bicycle Expo or at

a race in WA.



5) You can NOT get your USAC license at a race in WA.



6) Last year there was some cheating and a few riders used rental numbers at

more than one event so this year we are tracking rental numbers (to ensure

they only get used once) and charging for them (to cover the cost of numbers

that don't get returned). To avoid the hassle of additional day-of-race

fees, get an annual number! C'mon, it's only $15...



7) To encourage participation from out-of-state riders, you can still rent a

number for free if you don't live in WA.
