Kimmel Park. Turn at the Circle K, cross the bridge, turn left, and
follow the signs to the park. Extra parking will be available at the
high school.
LODGING:
For those that would like to get out and about a day early, there
are a few options. Racers can spend the night at Kimmel Park in Mill
City on the 8th, but they are only permitted to camp in tents. Only a
mile away from Mill City is the Fisherman's Bend Campground, and it is an
excellent spot to camp if any sites are available. Their phone number is
503-897-2406. For those that would like a little more comfort, the
Stayton Best Western (18 miles W of the race) can be reached at
503-769-9579. After all though, this race is up in the mountains, so
campgrounds are abundant.
