2006 Mountain bike course observer program

Hello,

New for 2006 is a program in which in exchange for your professionalism
and 15 minutes of time (post race), you can have a race entry waived
and make mountain bike racing better and more consistent for years to
come.

To qualify:

A minimum of 4 years racing experience as a Sport, Expert, semi-pro or
Pro level racer

The ability to fill out a survey that encompasses arriving at the race
site-through registration, the race (markings, directions ect) and post
race activities from the point of view of you the racer, and get the
form to the race director to turn in with his or her paperwork to OBRA
at the race.

I will be talking briefly about this at the Mudslinger and have a sign
up for this as well at the race. Please e-mail me with the race you
wish to do this at, and I will let you know if you are randomly chosen,
and get your info to the race that you are chosen to observe and race.
Each race will have one course observer, and I will e-mail your rider
information to the promoter so you are pre-entered for no cost for your
time. I will not announce to anyone other than the race director who
the observer is for any particular race. You can do this once per
season. I will do a drawing if multiple requests are received.

Thanks,
Mike Ripley
