That is good! I feel sorry for the woman and dog that share the living space with him. I imagine this guy would feel therapy would not be an option to help him with his scary behavior. At least Greg was not hurt.

I strongly feel that you should be reporting a crime to the Sheriff. The house is on the border of Washington/Multnomah County (I looked at the map and I'm not sure of the address). This guy is a criminal and nothing will happen to him until he is on record with the Law. You may save some other innocent person from this man's actions.
In Washington County the Sheriff must respond to all reports that are filed. I think you experience might be considered as assault.

I was walking my bike today as it had self destructed in the 7400 blk of NW Kaiser Rd (between GermanTown and Springville) at approximately 5:00pm. When a white male mid 30's, beard red/black flannel shirt carrying an open Coors Light can entered the roadway from his house and began yelling such profanities as "you fucking faggot cyclist!" etc. etc. The male then yelled at his large St Bernard dog "Adolph", "bite that fucker ya eat him!!" The dog then approached me growling and trying to get behind me and attack, I kept moving away from the residence while the dog continued to advance on me. The male continued to yell profanities at me and encouraging his dog to attack me. There was a female at the residence that was trying to call the dog back, but it failed to listen. I was approximately 100 ft from the house with the dog advancing at me from the middle of the street blocking all vehicular traffic and unconcerned that there were vehicles in the roadway when it finally gave up and went home.
The residence in question is a small red house on the north side of the road sits back a little ways. The mail box at the roadway is very distinctive as it has a set of vehicle exhaust headers painted orange and green. I advise everyone to be careful of both the dog and the redneck drunk male owner.
I will be contacting Washington County Animal Control tomm to have the owner issued a citation for animal at large and hopefully an aggressive animal charge. Unfortunately I don't think the owner broke any arrest able laws, but be careful as I don't think he was far off from wishing to fight.
