Change in Banana Belt Fields

A masters 4/5 race would always be another option. It seems to be a
popular choice where it is offered.

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Change in Banana Belt Fields

It is against OBRA rules to have Cat 5 riders in a field the size that
we put out at yesterday's Banana Belt. (112) Because of this we are
going to create a separate Cat 4 and Cat 5 field for the next 2 races.
My first impression is for the Cat 5 riders to do 1 less lap than the
Cat 4's but I would like your input before we formalize the schdule.
We are also going to move the start time for the masters so that they
will not be caught by the larger fields.

Changing the start time for the Masters field is welcomed by all, I'm sure.
There was lots of discussion among the remaining riders in the 50+ field
while we soft pedaled through the neutralization. Not only did this lengthy
neutral zone allow the slower riders to rest and recover for the final lap,
the neutral call came at the worst possible time. A pre-planned strategic
attack had just been launched only to be nullified. Thanks for making this
much needed change.
