Richard Sweet
Hello OBRA Land,
Just wanted to get this out to as many people as possible.
We have one week to go until the Pre-registration deadline and registration is looking good. The Cat 3 category is close to 70% full and the Pro/1/2 field is about 50% full. Remember you can register on-line up until midnight or mail you registration in with it post marked by March 15th, after that there is a $25 late fee, plus no guarantee for a t-shirt, extra schwag or Sunday award banquet at King Estate Winery.
The Masters 3/4/5 40+ and the Women?s 3 & 4 field?s are still under what we are hoping to get for a field, we would like 25-30 riders to run you separate. Our plan is to look at the registration numbers after the pre-registration deadline and determine if it is feasible to run the fields. If there are not enough numbers we will offer a refund if the ride chooses not to ride in the combined field, they will not be run together and scored separately.
The junior?s field is also low on registration numbers, just an FYI to all the juniors out there, we will honor the full payout if 20 or more riders and a 50% payout for 10 or more. The field will not be run with less than 10 juniors.
I also have to mention that over 50% of the people signed up from out of state, mostly from California, Utah, Nevada and Canada. It would be great to see some the great NW Oregon, Washington and Idaho riders step forward and dominate a local event.
