I just moved to Portland a few weeks ago & had my bikes shipped out. They arrived on Saturday; my townie was stolen on Wednesday (see below for details). Damn this is a harsh town.

So now I'm looking for basic city transportation. Would prefer a road frame in the vicinity of 54cm, built up & ready to roll with basic but reliable components. I don't have a lot of cash to throw at this; would like to find something for around $200. Can anyone take pity on me & restore my faith that Portland is a good place?!

Details on stolen bike:
Black/silver Cannondale road frame modded for city riding (R300, black to silver fade, straight bars, thumb shifters, women?s specific saddle, bear trap pedals) and white Bell Sweep helmet stolen from bike rack outside 24hr Fitness @ 12th & Johnson on 3/9.
