I've seen radios used in Oregon races. I don't remember what category
the field was, but it was no higher than cat 3.

is the difference between an earpiece for a music player and that for a
team
radio? Both can distract the rider from the racing at hand and be seen
as
"unsafe". Why is one allowed and one banned? Are there current rules
regarding radios in OBRA or USAC?
