Getting to BB3 (was Banana Belt 3)

It was about 16-17 miles from the Hillsboro MAX station to the start
line. I just rode out on the main road to Forest Grove (decent
shoulder, not too much traffic that time of day on Sunday), then took
47 down to the turn off for "old highway 47".

That's about it.

I know several people have MAX'ed it to Hillsboro and then used the ride from there to the race as a nice warmup.
Seems like a low cost, low logistics alternative.
Perhaps someone can shed more light on this. It would alleviate some of the parking\driving schenanegans.
