Mike Ripley
Hello,
I rode the course today and yes there is a spot of slinging mud, not
sticky just splatter on some sweet trails. Front fender recommended and
the weather will be 54 degree's and a 30% chance of rain.
9 days and counting and this is a reminder and update on the race.
1. Get your annual memberships off to OBRA by Monday at the latest to
have a chance at a hard plastic annual plate to be sent to you by race
time. As of now they will not be available race day and a tyvek temp
number will be issued to you for the day.
2. The Specialized Demo trailer will be at Pre-registration at PEAK
SPORTS the day before on Saturday the 25th from 2-6pm and on race day
in Blodgett to demo Specialized 2006 bikes.
3. 20th annual Mudslinger water bottles will be available to all on a
first come basis ( Thanks Specialized) also, I have 3 Thule racks to
raffle, a set of wheels from redline and a cannondale frame also.
Crazy----raffle,
4. The course is in great shape and a few new sections of singletrack
will keep you rollin along. This is the most single track any
mudslinger has had.
5. You can send me the entry form on mudslingerevents.com or sign up
at orbike.com.
Packet pick up and registration the day before or 7-9am at the school
gym.
The beginner course is great for first timers and I hope to see new and
old faces.
Thanks
Mike Ripley
