this is in response to Beth's comments ie age. I share her concerns; as=20
a 50+ woman, let me tell you that the competition is tough enough even=20
in my own age grouping!=20
I don't expect to be close to competitive with much younger women and I=20
don't race with goals of placing, just to finish a race upright is=20
enough for me at this point in my life. However, it does make it more=20
difficult when I expect to be "competing" within one age range and have=20
it changed with little notice. It's more a mind-set thing, probably.=20
And, yes, five years makes a huge difference. Unless, your last name is=20
