My Turn....a touch of humor/reality.
I would like to propose a category for Old Slow Women who just want a chance
to be a part of the racing scene. I have little hope of hanging on the back
of a pack of women, masters or not, and the TTT and TT give me a chance to
participate without paying XX dollars to get dropped and ride by myself. I
didn't start 'riding' until age 40 and at age 45 I've improved, but NOT THAT
MUCH. Mostly I referee and do first-aid at races. This is my chance to
actually ride in a race. Who knows, there could be a huge number of OSW out
there, think of the untapped income for promoters!
