Due to popular opinion - The womens Banana Belt race will be scored
seperately for the 1/2/3 women and the 4/5 women with seperate prize lists
although they will still race as one group.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The course is around Hagg Lake. Neutral start onto Scoggins Valley Rd,
right onto West Shore Dr., back to Scoggins Valley Rd. to finish one
rolling, eleven mile lap.
FEES:
$5 registration fee for juniors/$16 pre-registration all other OBRA
riders/$19 Day of event Registration. This is an OBRA event/Day of event
OBRA licenses are available to non-OBRA members. USCF licenses are NOT
required. Send pre-registration with standard athletes release form to
Chris Hamilton, 1714 SE 54th Ave., Portland, OR 97215. Pre-registration
must be postmarked by the Wednesday prior to each race date.

POINTS SYSTEM:
Points will be accumulated over the three race series for overall prizes
awarded at the last race, Sunday, March 14th. First (16pts), second
(13pts), third (10pts), fourth (8pts), fifth (6pts), sixth (5pts), seventh
(4pts), eighth (3pts), ninth (2pts), tenth (1pt). Prizes are cash and
gift
certificates compliments to River City Bicycles.
DIRECTIONS TO THE BANANA BELT COURSE:
From I-5 (N or S) go West on Hwy. 26 via I-405 N or S, and veer left onto
Hwy. 6/ Banks/Tillamook exit at MP54. Go approx. 2 miles on Hwy. 6 and
turn left to head South on Hwy. 47. Go approx. 10 miles to a right onto
Scoggins Valley Rd/ Henry Hagg Lake Park. Follow the signs on Scoggins
Valley Rd to registration and parking located on the far side of the lake
at Boat Ramp "C".
REGISTRATION:
Opens at 8:00am under the registration banner, closes 15 minutes prior to
start times.
PRO/1/2 - Category 3 - Masters 35+ ONLY:
Pro/1/2 Hot spot points will be awarded on the end of laps 1 and 3 of the
first and second race; laps 1, 3, and 5 of the third race. Cat 3 and
Masters hot spot points will be awarded on the second lap of each week.
Hot spot points will be added to riders overall point tally. Points go
three deep (5, 3, 1).
