So, I think I just figured out how to use my "Innovations Big Air!" can properly. I was using the web site instructions, which say exactly the opposite of what the can says to do.
The *WRONG* way (but listed this way on their website):
I was holding the can vertical, w/ valve at top and tube valve stem at 3 or 9 o'clock position. I was getting really weak, slow inflation and not enough pressure. Maybe only 22-25 psi and it took like 15 seconds to do so. There was still plenty of volume in the can, but no pressure to inflate my tire harder. Grrr!
The *RIGHT* way (as listed on the canister, duh):
Hold the can vertical w/ nozzle pointing down, onto valve stem positioned at 3 or 9 o'clock. This will pop your tire right up full and hard really quickly.
Too bad it took me 3 flats and 3 $pendy cans to figure that out. Just thought I'd share that w/ you other mtb racers. You all probably already knew this, but maybe someone didn't. Ok, so I've been racing a while, but I'm a Big Air Newbie.
See ya at Spring Thaw and Table Rock road race this weekend! Two excellent racing options in Sunny Southern Oregon.
