That's about the same time my Dad was there, in the Army, '53 or '54.
Working for Eisenhower, as he puts it. He remembers seeing some bike races
while in Italy and France. We are assuming they were the Giro or the Tour.
Now he wishes that he had taken a closer look.

yeah
either that or you will have to sit in front of a television display, that
is tuned to a channel, that is showing the race, with your eyes open and
directed towards the tv, and you have to watch at the correct broadcast
hour.
it is tough but I would recomend watching rai on dish network. As said
before you can get it with a dish 500.
