Talked to Drew Carney at Channel 12 KPTV today. We are all ready and set to
go. Thanks to those of you who responded yesterday re: changes in schedule.
Hopefully I have it down now (see list below).
Re: the patches to the track. On Sat we patched most of the track "holes"
during the track clean-up day. We still have two major holes remaining,
which Mike Murray and Steve Garcia are presently in the process of
attempting repairs. I just confirmed with Mike that our plan for Tues am is
to go ahead and cardboard-and-tape these areas to ensure track rideability,
so we will be OK to ride on Tues am. Just want to make sure everyone is
aware.

Greetings. Here's my list so far of who has confirmed to come ride Alpenrose
on Tuesday, May 9, for KPTV's Good Day Oregon Show. By each name I've put
the time period I believe you've confirmed with me. Remember there are 15
live on-the-air shots, from approx 5:43am to 8:45am. So please make sure
you're ready to ride while you're there! Forecast calls for sunny skies, but
it will be chilly (mid to high 40's), so dress accordingly.

Channel 12 - List of Riders/Volunteers
We are a definite GO for this Tues and the Good Day Oregon Show on KPTV
Channel 12 with Drew Carney. By the way, Channel 12 no longer sends out
tape dups, so if you want a copy of the show, you will need to record it on
your own (i.e., program it or ask a friend).
I've tried to update the list below as best as I can remember, so my
apologies in advance if I don't have your information below listed
correctly. Just let me know asap if I need to revise it.
We'll probably start riding the track at 5:30am and get some pace lines
going by 5:45am. From there, based on what Drew may be looking for, we may
do some mass start stuff as needed, and maybe a madison near the end of the
show.
Again, there's still room for more track riders if you are interested.
NOTE: When entering Alpenrose on Tues am, please use the Main Entrance by
the main dairy building and the Cadonau family residence. When you get to
the velodrome, remember to be considerate of the neighbors next to the back
stretch of the track between 5am - 7am with regards to noise.
