For 2006 the Oregon Bicycle Racing Association has agreed to give tandem
bicycle teams their own state championship time trial race. In past years
all of the classifications have raced on the same day and this has forced
the most competitive tandem teams to choose between racing their tandems or
their single bikes. This new format will allow racers to participate in both
events.
For all of you tandem teams out there, this is your state championship! The
Oregon State Tandem Time Trail Championship race will be held on the
traditional 40k Peoria Road course that has been used for many years and has
established course records.
Come out and take aim at those course records.

Note: There must be at least 5 teams in a category for medals to be awarded.
Directions to the course:
From I-5, take the Corvalis/Tangent exit (Highway 34) west for about 8 miles
until you intersect Peoria Road. Turn South (left) on Peoria Road for about
4.8 miles. The start line is at the Peoria Boat Ramp and staging, parking
and sign-in is 1/4 mile south of the boat ramp at the corner of Main and
Park St.
Please bring your trainers, no warm-ups on the course.
