Hey guys

I am your CR at the Coast Hills and a Schedule of events is coming soon
from the organizers

Here is what I know and what I have been told

I did pre-ride the course last week (its right next to Oregon Coast
Community College) across the bridge in Newport heading south past the
Rogue Brewery

http://maps.google.com/maps?q=oregon+coast+community+college+address&hl=en&ll=44.601682,-124.042232&spn=0.011474,0.027874&client=firefox-beta&fb=1&gl=us&hq=oregon+coast+community+college&cid=0,0,12224627844509964742&t=m&z=16&iwloc=A

Overall the laps are 10 miles or so and about 1500 ft of climbing per lap
that I did

expect an hr to 1:30 for your lap depending on your ability

599.00 for 1st man and women overall in Pro/Cat 1 and 7 deep for each and
equal payout as well

Also a 100.00 First lap prime for men and women.

In addition they have some fastest cash for Lincoln County residents

I have the GPS file which is not the exact course but I will post it for
anyone to look at with the Link at Mudslinger Events Facebook page

thanks and make sure to give yourself plenty of time to drive over

Mike

To the 163 riders plus the 25 kids who rode in the Coast Hills Mountain

Bike Classic Sunday...thanks for coming to the coast! We had beautiful

weather and a good time. My kids worked real hard and are proud of their

event. If anyone is interested in a t-shirt, I have a variety of sizes

and colors still available and would be willing to ship (or I could deliver

to PIR on Monday) them for just $10. Let me know if interested:

Interesting note to all you mountain bikers: A buddy of mine who is a

triathlete and did his first ever mtn bike race (sport class) Sunday had

this comment: "Everybody who passed me let me know they were coming, and

then they had something nice to say like good job or thanks when they

passed me!" Pretty cool observation and a testimony to the spirit of

cycling in our state, I think. Nice job, riders. Thanks again for helping

our race be a success!
