Get your teammates, your friends, or just a couple people on bikes, and
bring them all the the Team Time Trial. Capitol Velo is looking forward
to provide you with a unique and exciting event.
First and foremost I would like to mention that the Linn County Sheriff
Search and Rescue Post is volunteering to provide corner marshals at our
event. www.linnsheriff.org/SAR/LCSOsar.BaseCamp.htm The attached link
can provide you more information on their efforts. A portion of the
proceeds from the TTT will be donated to the LCSO. Along with the
volunteers we will have 2 sheriff's deputies to assist them. Please
treat them with the respect that they deserve and remember that when you
are not racing you must obey all traffic laws.
Secondly I would like to mention that we will have a caterer onsite:
Main Street Coffee for all your morning and afternoon needs.
Espresso Cart
Breakfast:
Pumpkin bread
banana bread
other batter breads
scones
cinnamon rolls
meat and non meat crust less quiche
Lunch:
deli sandwiches
chips
sports drinks
Race Information:
Online registration is available through our website at
www.capitolvelo.com
Weather looks great so get your team together and register online. It
makes your race morning and our race morning that much easier. Please
recall that even if you register online your team still needs to sign an
OBRA release form at the race. (Online registrants will get a free
pass to the front of the line.) Note that day of race you must register
your entire team at once we will no longer accept a portion of the team
fee with the promise that the other two teammates will pay when they
show up.
Among your teammates please try to scrounge up 4 identical numbers for
your team. Many racers that have been around for awhile will have no
problem with this as they have had the same number for years.
MANDATORY RACE MEETING AT 10:45: Make sure to have at least one team
member near the registration area to hear last minute instructions.
Thanks and see you soon
