Wow, it seems like we have heard enough about Steve Larsen. Can we stop
with the negativity and move on to something more positive and/or
constructive?

Hello OBRA,
I've sat at home laughing the last few days about the Steve Larson
controversy. We have eye witnesses in Bend seeing Steve Larson doing
interval training this spring up a steep road named Summit and other reports
telling us that he was yelling during a group ride because the others
weren't going fast enough for his workout (he was on his Scott Time Trial
bike at the time... you know the bike sponsor of his.)

Steve has a history in the past three years of sand bagging in Mt. bike,
road and triathlons. He even took the Oregon Leaders jersey away from Evan
Elken when he was an Amateur at Cascade Classic a few years back.

I personally don't know Steve Larson but, I have a lot of friends and
acquaintances that think very negatively towards him.

I have attached an article announcing his retirement from professional
racing in 2003 and also the results at an iron man qualifier that he did
last year as an age grouper in which he won.

Here you go.

I'll second that one Wade.

The response to this is by far the worst part of this whole thing.
