Thanks to Team S&M, sponsors and volunteers for a challenging and fun Race at Reehers. Their commitment made for a great day for racers. Thanks to OBRA for support too! Course was dry, fast and well marked. Great prize array and downhome atmosphere. All this out in the beautiful NW forest. As I drove home (hammered by an intense thunderstorm) I was hoping they had most of after-race work done... or the downpour missed them... if not...Hey! Free Shower!

To get there:
Take Hwy 26 out toward the coast. Go through the tunnel, then go until
you get to that "intersection" in the big clearing at the bottom of the
hill where that restaurant is. Go left. Timber is about three miles
south. You'll cross a little bridge and you'll be in the greater
metropolitan Timber area. Take your first right. Follow the road (it
turns to gravel) a couple miles until you see the day use camp area.

The course appears to be mostly marked already. I rode part of it last
night. But beware, it is not all marked and not well-travelled so the
path is somewhat primitive in places. If you don't know the course you
may not realize where you have to turn from the gravel climbs.
