I always buy stuff at Krugers when I?m out at Sauvie Island. They have great produce there, and some really good beverages. They even have a barbeque going during the summer where you can order stuff like corn on the cob, burgers, hot dogs, stuff like that.

I think it would be good to do something for the guy like buy something from his business as a way of thanking him when using his Farm to park your car for a cycling ride.

I met with Don Kruger of Kruger Farms a few months ago. He said that cyclists could park their cars in the lot at his Farm when coming to ride.

Getting here
Our farm is located at 17100 NW Sauvie Island Road. To get here, head out route 30 toward St. Helens. When you get to Sauvie Island, cross the bridge and go straight on Sauvie Island Rd. We're 1 1/2 miles ahead on the right. See a Mapquest map to our location.

Another way is to go to the summer concert series that he hosts. Look at the
website for details. I went to most of them last year and I can tell you that it
was very entertatining, hay rides, kid friendly, wine available, beer on tap,
food options, and live music.

Any one know if they will have their BBQ or something else on Sunday? If they will, I won't worry about packing a lunch.
