I went for a nice ride this afternoon. Nothing out of the ordinary happened.
As for "WEAR A HELMET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I take a libertarian approach to
helmets. I almost always wear one because I think it's a good idea but I
don't care if you wear one or not.
I and many of my contemporaries somehow managed to grow up imitating Evil
Kneival with rickety ramps and no protective gear whatsoever.

This is a very tough time for cyclists in the Portland metro area!!!!
I witnessed on 3 different occasions today motorists being very agressive
to cyclists in Washington county. I am sure KATU did not have any intention
on portraying cyclists as bad people. The story just came out that way,
Which does anger many motorists.
We as cyclists need to obey all rules of the road and
all motorists need to do the same.
I see so many cyclists riding through stop signs, Weaving in and out of
traffic, Not signaling. WEAR A HELMET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you see a motorist doing this, Cyclists say they should be cited for the
violation. Why not cite a cyclist for the same violation?
Most of us cyclists also drive motor vehicles on a regular basis, We are the
ones who should be setting the example of how to drive as well as ride
a bicycle. If a motorist or cyclist does not know they are doing something
wrong or unsafe they will always perform in this manner.
