Thanks, Mark! I just called the City's 24-hour maintenance line about
the Terwilliger Blvd bikelane, south-bound, which is starting to become
overgrown with grasses and ivy. Last year, after three months of trying
to call the city's attention to the beginning stretch of Terwilliger,
just before the light at Sam Jackson, I rode down there with long-bladed
shears in my backpack and pruned it myself! Perhaps if more of us take
a moment and contact the agencies you give, we will be heard better!

On path/bike lane/street cleaning, I'd initially call
503.823.1700, the
City's 24-hour maintenance line, if the location is within
the City of
Portland boundaries. That said, a number of the paths (and
streets) within
Portland proper are maintained by other agencies, most
prominently the
Oregon Dept. of Transportation. For example, the entire
I-205 path is
maintained by ODOT. Their maintenance number is (503)
257-4339 (that's
their Milwaukie area maintenance shop). you can also call
the Portland
metro area bike/ped coordinator for ODOT, Darlene Maddux
((503) 731-3262).
If you're unsure of whose jurisdiction the maintenance is,
then just call
the City number and they'll either tell you or route it to
the right people.
