Hey Gary, the Quattros are pretty sweet. I end up racing the road in my
mountain shoes a lot and they are solid with the Quattros. I overhaul them
at least yearly and they never really need it. The big bearing appears to
have a pretty good lifespan. I prefer a small Q-factor too and I've been
happy with the Quattro while I switched to shorter TI spindles on my
Eggbeaters for cyclocross.
