I thought this may be of interest to most of you.

Nike said Monday it is entering the film industry, co-producing a

documentary of cyclist Lance Armstrong's training for the Tour de France.

The one-hour film, set for a June 23 debut on CBS, will be synchronized with

a corresponding Web site, www.roadtoparis.com. Nike described the film as an

experiment, allowing the Beaverton-based company and other advertisers to

learn how consumers interact with television and the Internet.

Portland-based Wieden + Kennedy and @radical.media, headquartered in New

York City, created the documentary by filming four European races Armstrong

participated in last month. The film will debut June 23 at 3 p.m. EDT on

CBS. The Outdoor Life Network will air nine encore presentations of the

film between June 28 and July 12. [Ed's note: It was actually five races,

and the documentary is on the entire US Postal Service team, not just

Lance.]
