Bari,

Typically you need to type it all up with columns for all the criteria
(eg, date, race, location, distance, field size). List all your results
that give points (ie, top 6 or 7 depending on event) even if some
criteria aren't met. This allows some subjective room to make your
case; for instance, the distance might not be quite what the criteria
says, but maybe you got 4th out of 100 riders, which is a good result.
Write a short letter on why you deserve the upgrade, send it in and
wait. The less work you give someone to do the better, and don't make
up results; this is more common than you think!
