whoops.
spoke loosely when I said "junior squad." what i meant was non-pro,
like JV.
I'm:
32
6'2"
175
20mph on the flats
descend at low 30s comfortably, high thirties where i can see there are
no turns
decent climber
never raced
looking to turn it up a notch, ride with more experienced riders, and
pick up a few tips.
looking for group rides that would suit that profile or teams that
welcome over-the-hill wanna-be ass-kickers.
time to kick some ass.
Thanks,
Matt

Subject: [OBRA Chat] challenging group rides or junior team PDX
I've been in PDX for a while now, and my fitness and handling are up.
So I'm ready to find some challenging group rides to kick it up a notch
or a junior squad to join.
Any suggestions?
River City doesn't have sunday group rides this month and Bicycle Paper
seems to just list races and big organized rides. I'd be looking for
something accessible for a SE Portland rider. Have 853 and legs. Need
company, preferably better than me. No idea how to characterize my
riding level. 20mph on flats, comfortable descending up to low 30s,
high thirties on drops without turns. decent climber.
Thanks,
Matt
