Friday morning pre-work fixed gear fiesta

Tim Smith & I have been doing a regular 'pre-work
Friday AM' ride up to and around Mt Tabor (3-4 laps)
for the past several months. It's a nice way to get
in a good end of the week workout prior to starting
your day.

We decided it would be fun to open it up to anyone
else out there who might want to join us. We
generally meet and leave promptly at 6:45AM from Sabin
Elementary school (NE 17th & Mason) before heading up
Alameda Ridge and meandering to the backside of Tabor,
spinning around 3-4 times and then heading into
downtown via Lincoln St. and the Hawthorne bridge.
This gets us into downtown at right around 8:00
(depending on number laps we decide to do and whether
we stop for breakfast on the bridges).

So, if anyone wants to join this friendly, chatty, but
relatively fast 'non denominational' (not affiliated
with an official team) 'group' ride, we'll be at Sabin
tomorrow at 6:45AM sharp and every Friday thereafter.

Oh - Currently, we both are riding fixed, but all
riders are welcome and at some point in the summer
we'll be riding gears (At least until winter when
we'll generally be running fixed again)

If you want more info or directions, feel free to
email me directly.

Regards,
Dan Porter
